Company history: James "Jim" L. Young is a graduate of San Diego State College (now University) in Journalism. His 40+ years of experience include -- journalist, freelance writer, editor, photographer, publisher, media rep. public relations account executive, corporate p.r. director, and writer's association executive, and author.
Mr. Young holds the Master of Religious Education Degree from Golden Gate Seminary in Mill Valley, CA and worked many years as a newspaper, magazine, news/wire service editor, freelance writer, news & features photographer, and mentor to other freelance writers.
He especially is knowledgeable about insurance continuing education, was a c.e. coordinator and Dept of Insurance liaison for a top Southern California insurance school for 8 1/2years.
Mr. Young continues to do research and write, principally for the insurance industry, with which he has been associated for 10 years, He is a CA-licensed Fire (Property) & Casualty Broker-Agent specializing in surety bonds, insurance, and licensing & business entity issue, and previously specialized in Errors & Omissions insurance.
Further, Mr. Young has written textbooks on annuities for two pending insurance continuing education courses, in addition to his popular
