JLY Public Relations, Sycamore Press Div. received notification today (Monday, 08-09-2010) from the CA Dept of Insurance that we have been approved to administer two correspondence courses from WCS Publishing: 8-Hours Annuities Training and 40-Hours Health Issues in America.

The two are available now via the JLY PR website, www.insuranceprosguides.com. The Annuities course sells for $40.00 each, including 9.75% sales tax and $5.00 shipping/handling. The Health Issues course is priced at $66.00 each, including sales tax and s/h. You can also order by contacting us at jyoung@insuranceprosguides.com; or call 1-619-224-1014 and ask for Jim Young.

Our premiere e-course, "The Insurance Professional's Ethics Guide," is approved for five credit hours by the CA Dept. of Insurance, and is available for $34.00. Click on "Contact Us" (upper left), fill in your information and email your order along with a copy of your check or money order, payable to "James L. Young dba JLY Public Relations." Then mail your original, "wet ink" check to:

When we receive your order and check/m.o. copy, we will email your course to you. When your check/m.o. clears and you have successfully completed the course, we will electronically file your credits with the CA Dept. of Insurance.
 

We (James L. Young, CA PC Lic 0D40070) also offer PC and other types of surety bonds. Our two-year, $10,000.00 PC Bond sells for $135.00, and we usually can have it mailed to you within 48 business hours. This is a two-year, $10,000.00 bond as required by the CA Dept. of Insurance for PC and/or PL independent agents/brokers. It does not require an up-front credit check.

You can also view our blog at jimbo1.blog.com, which tells the individual prospective licensee can (in California, at least) how to file his or her application and schedule the state insurance exam. The blog is free to view and the press releases may be exceprted or printed in their entirety, with proper credit.
