Prescott, AZ--Dakota James Henze,13, has been writing since he could hold a pencil. The result? His first novel, The Kooks & The Mountaineers, a western based in frontier Arizona and New Mexico, is newly published by Sycamore Press of El Cajon, CA.
The story chronicles the lives of two frontier boys who grow into manhood in a murderous environment that forces them to adopt the violent ways of the Old West times in which they live.
Henze, an eighth-grader at Prescott Middle School where he is on the football team, began writing the novel when he was 11. He showed the manuscript to his grandfather, James (Jim) L. Young of Sycamore Press, a small publisher and seller of insurance continuing education courses. Henze's grandfather liked the book so much he offered to publish it.
Now the book is featured as a product offered at http://www.insuranceprosguides.com, the official website for Sycamore Press, and can be ordered there. Henze said he is working on a new novel

James L. Young Offers Full Line of Surety Bonds
El Cajon, CA--James L. Young, CA Insurance License No. 0D40070, announces that he is now authorized to offer a full line of surety bonds -- both to insurance agencies and the public.
"We offer a wide variety of bonds, including property-casualty insurance broker bonds that do not require an up-front credit check, contractors' permit and license bonds, performance and bid bonds, theft bonds, among many others. We do not offer bail bonds, however," said Young, who also owns and operates Sycamore Press School, a division of JLY Public Relations.
"Our bonds underwriter is the best so that we can find bonds at good rates in a relatively short time for those who are qualified," Young continued. He cautioned that often individuals or businesses seeking bonds can't qualify because of poor credit.
'In the case of bad credit, the entity seeking the bond may be required to have a co-signer who has good credit and owns real estate. Absent good credit or a solid co-signer, the entity may be better off obtaining a Letter of Credit instead of trying to get the bond," he said.
Young has been licensed for and has sold property-casualty insurance -- and bonds -- in California more than eight years as an appointed agent for other insurance agencies-brokers. He is now working independently and says he can offer lower prices than before on the bonds he sells.
