We have been in business since 2008, following 10 years as a continuing education liaison between the CA Dept. of Insurance (CDI) and a prominent CA-based insurance school.
Prior to that Owner/Director James L. Young, PhD, was/is a working journalist/editor/small press publisher, who has written and published and/or edited all of the courses offered on this website.
All but one -- the Ultimate Insurance Solution (UIS) -- are approved by the CDI to meet continuing education requirements for licensed CA insurance professionals. The UIS course is based on Dr. Young's dissertation and was/is not intended to be a license-related course. It compares the modern insurance policy with covenants from the Holy Bible.
Dr. Young is a graduate of San Diego State College (now University) -- B.A. in journalism Grossmont College -- A.A. in journalism; Newburgh Theological Seminary -- PhD in biblical studies; Golden Gate (now Gateway) Seminary -- Master of Religious Education. He lives with his wife in Seguin, TX -- having come back to his roots from living in Tennessee, Colorado, and California for most of his professional life.
